Regional Terms of Use

Effective date: October 20, 2026
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Version: 1
Provider: DOLLAR JUDGE INC, doing business as Headii

Policy sections

1. How these regional terms apply

These Regional Terms supplement the Terms of Use for consumers in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Japan and Mexico. They apply when the relevant country's mandatory law protects you, not merely because of an App language, storefront or network setting. They do not state that a Service is available in every listed country. Omission of another jurisdiction from this regional text does not remove applicable mandatory rights or, by itself, change an existing agreement.

The contracting entity remains DOLLAR JUDGE INC, doing business as Headii, at 522 W RIVERSIDE AVE STE N, SPOKANE, WA 99201-0581, UNITED STATES. Contact support@headii.com for service or consumer requests and legal@headii.com for legal notices.

For the matter they address, these Regional Terms take precedence over a conflicting general provision of the Terms of Use or Paid Services Terms. More protective mandatory rights remain unaffected. Purchase disclosures cannot remove those rights. These terms do not authorize personal-information processing; see the Privacy Policy and Regional Privacy Notice.

Paid Time Packs apply only if actually offered with the Paid Services Terms and the disclosures for that transaction. These regional terms do not introduce a purchase, subscription, balance or expiry. Hardware sales, delivery and warranty documents remain separate, without removing Headii's obligations for software or services included with a device.

Where the law requires a local-language version, that version is provided before the relevant agreement or processing. An English drafting source does not automatically prevail over a local-language version or a consumer's mandatory interpretation rights. Changes to these Regional Terms follow the notice and acceptance rules in the Terms of Use; putting a new version on a webpage is not, by itself, your agreement to a material change.

2. United States

The Terms of Use apply subject to applicable federal and state consumer protections. Their Washington-law provision does not remove mandatory protections of your home state. No compulsory arbitration, class-action waiver or consumer indemnity is introduced by these Regional Terms.

Recording and imaging requirements depend on the place and circumstances of capture and use. A capture indicator or the consent of the person operating a device does not establish another person's legally required consent. Headii's own responsibilities remain as stated in the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

U.S. privacy particulars are in the U.S. State Privacy Notice and, where relevant, the separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. A reference to either notice does not activate sensitive processing.

3. Canada, including Québec

Federal and provincial consumer protections apply according to their scope. A Washington-law or forum provision does not waive a mandatory provincial right, remedy, limitation period or competent local court. No compulsory arbitration or class-action waiver is introduced.

For consumers in Québec, the warranty exclusions identified in Section 15, the exclusions of damages and fixed liability ceiling in Section 16, and the Washington-law choice and Washington-court provision in Section 17 of the Terms of Use do not apply. These Terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Liability, warranties and remedies are determined by applicable law, and you may bring a claim before a court with jurisdiction under those laws. Nothing excludes or limits responsibility for bodily or moral injury, intentional or gross fault, or any other responsibility that cannot lawfully be restricted.

Where Québec's rules on unilateral amendments apply, any permitted amendment must identify the contract element that can change and must not change an essential element where prohibited. The required written notice is sent at least 30 days before the change and states the existing and changed provisions, effective date and applicable refusal and cancellation rights. Where the law gives that right, you may refuse and end the contract without cost or penalty within 30 days after the change takes effect. A website update or silence is not used to avoid those requirements.

For Québec consumers, the applicable French contract and related documents are provided without charge before any valid express choice to be bound only by another language. A generic statement that the parties prefer English is not a substitute. Where the supplied versions diverge, the consumer retains the right to rely on the version favorable to them as provided by applicable Québec law.

Any future paid offer must satisfy the province's actual disclosure, cancellation and prepaid-value rules. These terms do not state that Canada has a single universal cooling-off period or that a non-expiring time pack is exempt from every provincial rule.

4. Australia

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not excluded, restricted or modified. Where applicable, services must be supplied with due care and skill, be fit for a purpose made known in circumstances protected by law, and be supplied within a reasonable time when no time was agreed.

For a major service failure, you may be entitled to cancel the service contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion or compensation for its reduced value. For a failure that can be remedied and is not major, applicable rights include rectification within a reasonable time and further remedies if it is not rectified. Compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage and other mandatory remedies remain available. Any goods-related remedy is assessed under the rules applicable to those goods, not treated as an App-only claim.

The disclaimers and liability limits in the Terms of Use do not limit these guarantees or remedies. A marketplace refund procedure does not replace Headii's own obligations. Contact support about a problem; you may also seek assistance from the relevant Australian consumer body or a competent court or tribunal.

5. Singapore

Nothing excludes rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act or restricts liability contrary to the Unfair Contract Terms Act. Liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence is not excluded; any other restriction subject to a statutory reasonableness requirement applies only if that requirement is met.

Descriptions of features, availability and any paid entitlement must not mislead you. A price, renewal, cancellation or limitation is not imposed merely because a possible future commercial model appears in a policy. You may use applicable court, tribunal and consumer-complaint routes. These terms do not create a general cooling-off period where Singapore law does not provide one, and do not remove one where it does.

6. Japan

Mandatory protections under the Consumer Contract Act and other applicable Japanese laws prevail. Headii does not exclude all liability for breach or tort, exclude or limit liability for intentional conduct or gross negligence, give itself the exclusive power to decide whether it is liable, or waive your statutory cancellation rights. Any remaining limitation is effective only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

A change to standard terms is effective only where the applicable legal conditions are met, including the benefit to users or reasonableness of the change, its necessity and appropriateness, and the required disclosure of the changed terms and effective date. These terms do not establish an unrestricted unilateral amendment power.

Before any future paid offer, the actual seller, price, service period, cancellation conditions and legally required commercial disclosures will be presented in Japanese as required. Merely describing future Paid Time Packs does not create a current paid offer. These terms do not describe every online purchase as having a statutory cooling-off right. Mandatory Japanese rights and access to a competent court are unaffected by the general Washington-law provision.

7. Mexico

For a consumer contract covered by Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Law, Mexican mandatory consumer protections apply. The Washington court provision does not apply to require submission to a foreign court, and the Terms do not waive access to PROFECO or competent Mexican courts.

No disclaimer or liability limit releases Headii from civil responsibility contrary to Article 90 of that law. Headii cannot unilaterally change the substance of the contract or release itself from an agreed obligation in circumstances prohibited by law. A material change requiring agreement must be offered as such; declining it does not erase accrued rights or lawfully acquired value.

Applicable adhesion terms and commercial disclosures are supplied in understandable Spanish. Before a future paid electronic transaction, the responsible seller and required contact information, full price and charges, service conditions and any renewal or cancellation mechanism must be disclosed. Any statutory reimbursement, compensation or cancellation right remains available; an App store's discretionary policy is not the only source of remedies. No statement here represents that a contract has been registered with or approved by PROFECO.
